Our U.S. headquarters can accept and manage funding from particular grantors for Harvard-affiliated research activities conducted in the U.S.

Enabling Harvard's Research and Education

In 2012, the President and Fellows of Harvard College established Harvard Global Research and Support Services, Inc.—a tax-exempt nonprofit corporation also known as Harvard Global or HG—to provide common administrative infrastructure and back-office support for Harvard's international projects and activities.

Although our principal office is located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the majority of our operations and services take place abroad, where we've established several country-specific entities, registrations, or memorandums of understanding. These entities and agreements enable us to employ staff, run offices, and accept and manage gifts and funds on behalf of Harvard-affiliated projects.

Harvard Global Services in the U.S.

In the U.S., we're able to provide our grant administration service and act as the direct awardee for certain grants that the University cannot accept due to the grants' terms. If you’d like to utilize our grant administration services in the U.S., complete and submit the form at the bottom of this page or email our Sponsored Research Team at sponsored@harvardglobal.org to discuss your project.
